Ships Security Systems...

With piracy attacks on the increase, plus the ever present threat from terrorism, security systems are becoming an essential part of shipboard equipment. In response to this C-VIGIL : marine , in co operation with industry experts in wireless technology, have put together various packages designed to detect / deter un-wanted guests.

Most would-be intruders would prefer to gain access to your vessel undetected - the element of surprise being on their side take this away and they will probably think better of it.

There's not much you can do to stop a determined well organised attack however, early detection gives the ship's staff more time to react & raise the alarm to send for the cavalry.

As not all ships are the same, we have also included systems designed for hazardous area Zone 1 usage - as might be found

on chemical, oil product or LNG carriers. These system could also be used for manifold monitoring during cargo operations.

Not everyone tries to gain access covertly, many actually walk onboard up the gangway disguised as stevedores, linesmen, repair workers...etc. Gangway access cameras that record all personnel movements on and off the ship have been found to reduce this type of incidence.

We all know difficult, and expensive, it can be laying cables; therefore, as an alternative we have included high-end wireless video transmission system, that include military based security algorithms.

Offshore Security Systems...

Un-manned off-shore platforms are by their very nature exposed & vulnerable to intrusions. Not all intruders are harmless fishermen! With the use of PIR motion sensors located around the boat landing platform it is possible to detect any unauthorised access to the platform from seaward. By adding CCTV cameras, feeding video images back to the control station / mother rig by microwave wireless links, no intrusion will go undetected. With the use of video analytics software employing motion detection, virtual trip wires...etc, automatic monitoring and alarm generation is possible.
